Arielle M. Williams is from Tyler, Texas.  She graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2017 obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. She is also a 2021 graduate of THE Texas A&M University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree with a concentration in Workplace Law. While matriculating at Texas A&M, Arielle was involved with the National Lawyers Guild, the Women of Color Collective, and the Diversity Council, and she served as a Student Ambassador in the Admissions Office. She is also a member of the National Order of Barristers. She also served as the Citation Editor for the Journal of Property Law and was a two-time national qualifier for the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition. Arielle’s greatest honor while in law school was serving as the President of the Black Law Students Association and as the Chair and Founder of the
U.N.I.T.Y. Council. After graduation, Arielle worked in the Office of Admissions at Texas A&M School of Law as a Seasonal Legal Recruiter.

Arielle is now an Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP in Dallas Texas and her practice includes counseling clients in complex litigation issues regarding Mass Tort, Toxic Tort, and Product Liability. She represents Premises Owners in Toxic Tort Litigation, including claims of exposure to asbestos.

Arielle is the President Elect and Banquet Chair for the L. Clifford Davis Legal Association.

Attorney Khanay Turner is the managing attorney and owner of the K.Y. Turner Law Firm, PLLC. She is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and a proud graduate of two HBCUs, Prairie View A&M University and Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University Attorney Khanay has always been an activist and a social engineer since her time at Prairie View A&M University and throughout law school. Prior to launching the K.Y. Turner Law Firm, Attorney Khanay had an extensive career within government and public affairs. She has served as Chief of Staff for Texas State Representative Toni Rose, Executive Director for the Texas Legislative Black Caucus, and the Political Outreach Director for the Beto O'Rourke Senatorial Campaign. Attorney Khanay is still heavily involved with community grassroots outreach, as she serves as the Executive Director for the Barbara Jordan Leadership Institute. During both undergraduate and law school, Attorney Khanay has interned for Congresswoman Marcia Fudge, Congressman Marc Veasey’s campaign, National Parks Service, Wendy Davis’ gubernatorial campaign, Earl Carl Institute for Legal and Social Justice, and the U.S. Attorney Office of the Southern District of Texas. Attorney Khanay aspires to be the voice for the voiceless of all disenfranchised people. Attorney Khanay is an active member of the following organizations:

MarQ Clayton is a proud mother of 2!  She attended THE University of Oklahoma where she received her Bachelor of Art in Mathematics.  MarQ worked as a senior pension analyst before she decided to go to law school.  She received her juris doctorate degree from Texas A&M University School of Law.  She began her legal career as the 1st African American Assistant County Attorney in Hood County, Texas. She then opened The Clayton Law Firm in Fort Worth, Texas.  MarQ handles primarily criminal law cases in Tarrant and Dallas County.  She has been admitted to the Texas Bar College.  She’s the current Secretary of the L. Clifford Davis Legal Association in Tarrant County, she’s also the past President, President-Elect and Treasurer.  She’s serves as the Expunction Clinic Chair for the Tarrant County Expunction Clinic.  MarQ helped organize the Tarrant County Lawyer’s Against Injustice who offered pro bono services to protestors.  She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Xi Theta Omega chapter in Arlington, TX where she serves as Treasurer. She founded Girl2Girl Foundation to be a resource to young mothers.  MarQ awards scholarships and continues her work in and around the Tarrant County community.  MarQ is the a judicial candidate for Tarrant County Criminal District Court 2

Nicholas J. Coward is a personal injury attorney at one of the premier personal injury firms in the DFW area. Before graduating from the Texas A&M University School of Law, he served as the president of the school’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA).

Nic also participated in a team that successfully petitioned for an executive grant of clemency, while working at Texas A&M’s Criminal Defense Clinic. Additionally, during law school he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Eric Moyè.

Prior to enrolling in law school, Nic worked in business development for Fortune 50 companies, AT&T and UPS. After 12 years of assisting small businesses with their growth, Nic decided to begin working toward achieving his lifelong goal of becoming a lawyer. He attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he obtained a Bachelors of Arts in  Communications and an MBA.

Nic is a proud husband and father of two boys. He loves cooking, sports, and german shepherds.

Angel Williams is a Fort Worth native and graduate of P. L. Dunbar High School. She attended The University of Texas at Arlington where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration Degree. Angel later obtained a Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, now Texas A&M.

Angel served as a Juvenile Supervision Officer with Tarrant County Juvenile Services for almost 14 years. Angel took a position overnight so that she could attend law school during the day. In 2013, Angel opened a solo practice that handled Family Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Contract matters. In 2014, she became an Adjunct Professor at Tarrant County College. She teaches Texas Politics and Government and Federal Government. In 2017, Angel left Tarrant County Juvenile Services to become a Prosecutor in the Post-Conviction Unit of the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. Angel manages all the Expunctions and Nondisclosure for the office.

Angel is the immediate Past-President of the L. Clifford Davis Legal Association, formerly the Tarrant County Black Bar. She is also involved with the Tarrant County Bar, serving as Chair of the Brown Bag CLE Committee, Chair of the Juvenile Law Seminar, Chair-Elect of the Elections Committee, and former Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Moreover, Angel is an active member of the Law Focused Education Committee with the State Bar of Texas. She is also a life-long member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a former board member of the Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation and the Texas Juvenile Detention Association. Angel attends Mount Horum Baptist Church. She is adventurous and loves to read, travel and spend quality time with family and friends. She has one son and is the proud nana of a six-year old grandson and a one-year old granddaughter.

Chris Tolbert is a native of Austin, Texas. Attorney Tolbert received his undergraduate degree from Huston-Tillotson University and J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law. Mr. Tolbert also holds an LLM in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law.

Licensed in 2012 Attorney Tolbert started his legal career as public defender in the State of New Mexico. Attorney Tolbert then launched The Chris Tolbert Law Firm, a boutique general practice law firm. Attorney Tolbert has had considerable success as a civil and criminal defense attorney. Attorney Tolbert had the accomplishment of winning five consecutive not-guilty verdicts in criminal trials. He has had success in handling a few high-profile cases, to include police shootings and homicides, some of which gained significant local and national media coverage.

Attorney Tolbert is a member of the Texas Bar College, is an honorary society of qualified lawyers who maintain the highest ethical standards. He is also a graduate of Leadership Fort Worth. Attorney Tolbert enjoys giving back to the community through various endeavors including training and mentoring aspiring lawyers and paralegals, teaching as a guest lecturer through Huston-Tillotson University, his alma mater and volunteering through his local church One Community.

Ty Stimpson represents victims of catastrophic car accidents, 18-wheeler wrecks, motorcycle crashes, dangerous products, workplace injuries, and other serious injury or wrongful death cases in North Texas.

After graduating from Baylor University, where he played football, Stimpson attended law school. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University and his Master of Laws Degree at St. John’s University School of Law while working with the National Football League.

After law school, Stimpson began his legal career as a prosecutor – first at the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and later at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. The wealth of knowledge and experience he gained as a chief criminal prosecutor positioned him perfectly to pursue civil justice for those who have been wrongfully injured or killed.  As he transitioned to private practice, Stimpson built a reputation for being a go-to personal injury attorney due to his exceptional negotiation and trial skills. He has been named a Top Attorney for Personal Injury by Fort Worth Magazine and 360 West Magazine.  He is also a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 member.

When he is not in the office or courtroom, you will find Stimpson out in the community, giving back any way he can. He serves on numerous boards and is a member of dozens of organizations.
